Crashing VMs - Am I loosing disk (or my mind)

Hi,

We have several 5.0 installations and over the last few months, one of them is starting to hang the VMs. I've tried to update it with latest patches and tried to see if it was a combination of the VMs, but it's getting worse.

The problem always goes away after reboot of the host.

When the VM hangs, it's a result of the host itself getting REALLY slow. I discovered the hidden console and that seems to react fast, but all the commands when run are equally slow.

I've started reading through the log (F12) but it's a slow process obviously learning the internals of VMWARE, so I was hoping someone could take a look at the screenshots down here and tell me if I am having disk problems?

Thanks,

j-
