Crash Screen Help

Hi ,

I get this crash screen after a while when I start an esxi.

Seems related to Nvme storge , but donc really understand the issue.. anyone would have any insight ?

Is this happening on all host or just one? Are you using an OEM ESXi install or generic? Do you have the latest firmware and drivers installed?

Hi,

This happens on 1 single machine, it is for tests( recycling end user desktops ...)

I'm using the standard ISO from VMware downlaods, no additional drivers nor anything on the top

I'm investigating on the hardware itself, I will switch the NVE with another one ( other brand ) in case of...

Ok, since this is using older recycled hardware I would be suspicious of the hardware / driver / firmware being an issue.

Post back your findings when you have an update.

VMwares purple screen usually contain some details that can then be entered into a google search.
Can be a bug ID, exception ID or similar.
Cant read any of that in your screenshot !

Issue found, was apparently the NVE SSD ( picture below, the Crucial is OK, the WD Blue is NOT )
