Correct License for ESXi Free to Now Move to vSphere
I am using ESXi free version on some servers but we just obtained a Google GSA box (Dell R710) and we were able to reuse the box for testing. I went to install ESXi Free and received the error about having more than 32 gb of RAM when I put in the license. Basically I want to know if going with the vSphere Essentials license is correct when I only have 2 physical processors and have 48 gb of RAM?
"VMware vSphere Essentials Kit for 3 hosts (Max 2 processors per host) + Subscription for 1 year" Looking at this product/license, is that "Subscription for 1 year" just for support or is that the actual vsphere license is a subscription?
