Recently, PSoD occured in my server. I have submitted a SR to VMware, they asked for core dump files, but when I run the following command, I got the following error:
# esxcfg-dumppart -l

For this error, I can't gather the core dump files and we don't know why!http://communities.vmware.com/images/emoticons/confused.gif! .
The device '/dev/sda2' is obviously the core dump partition in my ESX server according to the following output:
