Copy and Paste into VMRC / ESXi 6.5

Hi folks,

I have tried to enable Copy and Paste function to allow me to paste text into a VMRC session, on my ESXi 6.5 server but so far I have been unsuccessful.

I have set the following configuration parameters are per a VMware KB snd restarted the VM:

isolation.tools.copy.disable	false
isolation.tools.paste.disable	false

However it makes no difference.

Is there something I am missing here? It is painful not to be able to use the clipboard between VM and host.

Please help.

Hello TP,

Have you tried also editing the necessary configurations at the host level?:

This has worked. Once I made the config change at host level I can now copy and paste unicode text!

Tried everything .. It doesn't work. any help will be appricated.

My ESX is 6.5 and Tried VMRC from Mac and Windows with latest version of VMRC@.
