Copy&Paste with web client does not work after upgrade from 5.5 to 6.5

Hi all,

I am running a Windows 7 Pro guest (HW version is set to 13) with latest VMware tools installed on an ESX 6.5 host.

Since I am using VMware for 10+ years I am famillia with the configuration:

isolation.tools.copy.disable false

isolation.tools.paste.disable false

This copy&paste did work until upgrade from 5.5 to 6.5. using the web client.

Of course I do not want to install the "remote console client". I do want to stay using the "web client".

Does anybody have this copy&paste with the web client working???

Hi Ulf,

can confirm, we have the same Problem:

vCenter: 6.5

Host: 6.0

in config-file of esx.host:

Isolation.tools.copy.disable = "FALSE"

Isolation.tools.paste.disable = "FALSE"

copy/paste is working via remote-console

copy/paste is not working via web.console
