Converting a RDM

Can someone please guide me on how to change a Virtual Mode RDM to a Physical Mode RDM.

I need this done for a VM running Windows 2000 Adv server. The Lun on the backend is a disk from Symmetrix VMAX, running on the VM as a Virtual Mode RDM.

Turn off your VM

remove your rdm disk. make sure you know what the path is

readd it as a physical raw disk

*note remove any snapshots you have
