I have Exchange Server with Windows 2003 Standard SP2, I wanted to convert that to VM,
May I please know, if it is a smooth process, what are the issues I can run into,

End all exchange services.
Change their startups to manual.
P2V
Clean up the old devices.
Reboot.
Make sure the IP is corret
start the services.
Chage their startup to automatic.
Just for your information..
VMware converter resets the IP configuration , so your target virtual server will have no IP configured and you need to do the IP configuration.
