I have used the converter on two different physical machines (Windows 2k3 & 2k8) in trying to go P2V. Both physical servers were installed on a blade with a quad core processor. When i convert them i drop them down to one vCPU however when they are powered on the CPU jumps right to 100% and never drops and i cant even login to the machines. If i bump them back up to 4 vCPU everything works smooth. I have checked the HAL is there anything else i should be looking at? I have also tried 2 and 3 vCPU and they wont work smooth unless they are set to 4.
