Continuous events - USB configuration has changed on host 123.123.co.uk in cluster 123.123.co.uk in ha-datacenter.

I am getting this message every 2 second in the event log:

USB configuration has changed on host 123.123.co.uk in cluster 123.123.co.uk in ha-datacenter.

This is an HP Proliant ML360 Gen9 running Vmware esxi 6.7.0 (Build 8169922) which I have just upgraded from 5.5.

I have disconnected all USB devices (an HDD and kbd) but the messages haven't stopped. Interspersed in these messages is:

Hardware Sensor Status: Processor green, Memory green, Fan red, Voltage green, Temperature green, Power green, System Board green, Battery green, Storage green, Other green

I can see one other post on these forums with no responses at all - any ideas what this may be?

Turns out someone had sneaked in a USB mouse (an HP one!) on the back of the server which had fallen down so was hidden. That was the culprit
