Console of vSphere Client stays black!

Hi:

I have installed in a server the free version of ESXi, I have installed on my PC vSphere Client and I have create virtual machines but when I try to power on one virtual machine and its console the console stays black!

what ´s happens?????????????

is the hostname of the ESXi that you connect to resolvable?

I don´t know... but I think that the name is localhost....

How can I check or change it??

in the vsphere client, click on the host, then go to configuration follow by network and you could see the hostname of the ESXi. then do a ping to that and see if it resolve or not.

Hello.

In my case, were problems with DNS.

You can try with the Ip, not with hostname.

¿It works using RDP?
