I have a set of SuperMicro servers I use for a class. When I went from 3.5 to 4.0 the PS2 ports stopped working. I wound up getting PS2-to-USB converters for each of my servers. That worked for 4.0 and 4.1.
I just did a trial installation of ESXi 5.0 on two servers. The keyboard worked through the installation phase but once the system booted, the keyboard wasn't recognized.
Am I alone in seeing this behavior? Has the USB support in ESXi changed between versions? While I can configure the server through the VI Client, I have situations where I need to stop the server gracefully through the console. I can't do that any longer.
