Connectivity issues

Hi all,

ESXi 5.5.0 2143827 (patch3)

Dell Poweredge M620

2x 10Gigabit Broadcom NetXtreme II BCM57810 cards

Broadcom details:

driver: bnx2x

version: 1.78.79.v50.2

firmware-version: FFV7.2.0 bc 7.2.25

Host is part of a HA cluster of another 6x M620 connecting via iSCSI to the Dell Equallogic SAN

This is the only host which is reporting issues of:

"Lost access to volume <<***********>> (datastore) due to connectivity issues. Recovery attempt is in progress and outcome will be reported shortly."

Yesterday we moved all VMs from the host and rebooted it.

Now it is reporting the same issues but to a LOCAL datastore.

Considering it was problem with a SAN volume and now to a Local volume I can only think that the problem is either:

a - cables

b - Network Card

What would you guys be looking at to troubleshoot this?

Yes we did.....we installed VMware patch3

The other 6x hosts run on the same hardware and patch level.
