Connecting Thecus N12000V to esx 4.1

Hi can somebody please point me in the right direction.

I have the following setup

ESX 4.1 running 4 VM's on 192.168.100.XXX,  through the VMware VSwitch0  (Nic0) to HP Switch to internal network and Fortinet Firewall on 192.168.100.1 to WAN

I bought a Thecus N12000V and I want to connect via iSCSI. What I need to know is how to configure the nic's on the Thecus. They are currently configured

WAN\Lan  192.168.100.XXX  Gateway 192.168.100.1 ( so I can control the Thecus)

Lan 1  192.168.2.XXX

Lan 2   192.168.2.XXX

Lan 1 and Lan 2 Linked 192.168.2.249  Gateway 192.168.2.1

New VMware VSwitch1 (Nic2, Nic3)

Nic 2 192.168.2.5

Nic3 192.168.2.6

The Thecus nics and the VMware nics are connected via cat5 eg Lan1-Nic2, Lan2-Nic3

All of the Raids appear in Static discovery:

192.168.2.249:3260
iqn.2012-11.com.thecus.n12000v:iscsi.ts.raid0

192.168.100.249:3260
iqn.2012-11.com.thecus.n12000v:iscsi.ts.raid0

192.168.2.249:3260
iqn.2012-11.com.thecus.n12000v:iscsi.thecus.raid1

192.168.100.249:3260
iqn.2012-11.com.thecus.n12000v:iscsi.thecus.raid1

192.168.2.249:3260
iqn.2012-11.com.thecus.n12000v:iscsi.test.raid1

192.168.100.249:3260
iqn.2012-11.com.thecus.n12000v:iscsi.test.raid1

But it sees them on the .100.XXx as well??  They do not appear in the details area???

I have followed this config guide step by step:

http://www.vmadmin.co.uk/vmware/35-esxserver/231-esxvmkernelrrmpiodvs

Where I have another issue when I try to bind Nic3 I get the add Nic failure message.

Please tell me what I am doing wrong, do I need to install a switch/router between the Thecus/ESX???

Many Thanks

Andrew
