Hi,
We have two hosts in a datacentre and want to link them so they can be seen as one network.
The DC staff have connected vmNIC1 between each host via a VLAN across the datacentre. vmNIC0 on each is a connection to the internet.
Could someone help with how we now connect the two hosts so they are part of the same internal network?
Thanks in advance.
Are vmnic1 on each host connected to either a dedicated switch or are configured for one specific VLAN? Or are they plugged into trunk ports which allow many VLANs? Either way, you create a port group (either one if using a vDS or one per host) and optionally a separate vSS with that port group and use the same name.
