Can I connect to a host which is part of a vcenter ha cluster directly via vsphere client? I'm going to be migrating hosts to new vcenter server and want to test host credentials I have on file.
Yes, unless Lockdown Mode was specifically enabled. If it is, you can still test your root credentials if you have physical or KVM access to the host.
