Connect and Disconnect a DVD Iso file in script

I have an automation process that installs a Linux RHEL 5.3 with many other comonents from a DVD ISO file I created .

After the first part of installation I need to shutdown the machine , disconnect the DVD iso file and start the vm that now will boot from the Hard Drive and continue installation .

All the process is working well except the disconnection of the iso file .

I am using the "vmware-cmd" script on ESX4

Any idea ?

Hi Raz,

You can try to use action "disconnectdevice" with vmware-cmd. Have a look a this thread for an example.
