Configuring HA task

Hi,

Sorry if this question sounds stupid but I'd like to know if the "Configuration HA" task (on one ESXi in a cluster) can start automatically because of an particular issue or if it's always a manual action ?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Eric

from my understanding... this will happen during....manual... HA feature enable/disable... and if it comes during HA Isolation response time.. during the HA master election process. but not sure...

Hi,

I see it in the event log of the ESXi: "Task: configuring HA"

As I didn't do anything but I'm not sure someone didn't do it behind my back, I'd like to know what could cause this task to start.

I'm running ESXi 4.1.0, 260247.

Thank you.

Eric

Hi,

You can get user name in the Events details. Hope, it's manual activity.
