I wonder how to configure a custom exec OID command for SNMPd to monitor S.M.A.R.T states on our VMware ESXi 7.0.3 build-18644231 hosts.
In older KB documents it seems that a long time ago a file named /etc/snmpd.conf existed but in 6.7 or 7 I didn't find that file.
It is no problem to configure and start SNMPd for the VMware MiBs and receiving that data with snmpwalk for example. The idea was, to send output data from "esxcli storage core device smart get" via snmp to our monitoring server.
Any ideas?
