Hi,
How can i assign two physical Nics to a VM?
Each nic will be configured on a seperat network - but on the same machine.
is this possible..
thanks
Hi,
Just create 2 vSwitches on the host, allocate the physical nics of the host to the seperate vSwitches, then create the port group per vSwitch, in the guest add another nic and assign it to the port group you require.

I assume you will not be using VLAN trunking, in that case,
-> you will have each physical NIC (vmnic) bound to a separate vSwitch.
-> Then create a Portgroup for each network on the vSwitches
-> Add virtual adapters on the VM and select the corresponding portgroup.
if you want to assign Physical NIC to VM directly without vSwitch, then look for passthrough device configuration.
thanks all..
