Computability Matrix of vCenter and ESXI for source and target

both the notes session are not to the point, can I migrate a VM from vCenter 6.5 (vCenter & ESXI  to 7.0u1 ? cox If i am not wrong the cross vCenter Vmotion feature is available only in 7.0u1 so I may have to import but will it work if my source VM is running on 6.5 vCenter
