Compatiblity Matrix for Cisco Catalyst Switch Module 3012

Hello,

I am checking the VMware Compatibility Guide for vSphere 5.5U1 and an IBM switch module Part Number: 43W4401, Product Name: Cisco Catalyst Switch Module 3012. The matrix search returns Cisco 1GigE I350 LOM which seems to refer to the Cisco drivers.

Can anyone help clarify and verify if this re-branded IBM Chassis switch module is supported and if a specific firmware code for the switch is required?? Thanks all.

L2/L3 switches are out of drivers boundary for vSphere hypervisor so you cannot find any on HCL list ...

Below is IBM BladeCenter interop matrix for VMware:

IBM ServerProven Compatibility

and here is interoperability of Cisco Catalyst switch 3012 with IBM BladeCenter chassis:

IBM BladeCenter Interoperability Test Program

hope this helps...
