Compare SAN info vs Web client info for the datastores

It's kind of confusing to me when the SAN tools tell me what you see in the first image, and the view in vmWare consoles show me something else... I just need an explanation to the possible logics behind this please, so I can understand better used/provisioned space. The provisioned/allocated space is not the same. As far as I know we have thin provisioning on the SAN and thick on the VM disks

Your SAN tools information is absolutely wrong.

Web Client information is correct because you can see that free space and allocated space are not match n SAN tools.

Why would the SAN tools be incorrect? The LUN's are thin provisioned on the array so only used blocks are counted towards the total used space. This is a common disconnect between vcenter and thin provisioned arrays.

What type of provisioning are you using on the VM's?

If you run esxcli storage vmfs unmap –l <datastore>

against the LUN's your free space will likely go up in the SAN tool view.
