I was recently charged with the task of deploying 25 new Citrix Metaframe XP servers in our environment. I read in the Citrix forums that you cannot simply clone a Citrix system to a template and then deploy VM's from that, changing the computer names and the SID's. Citrix doesn't like that I guess.
I am not a Citrix guru by any means, but after my collegue and I were researching on ways to do this we came across an article on Tech Republic that describes in depth the process on how to do this. The article was a little hard to find, so I thought I'd post it here:

The article is older and talks about cloning using disk imaging or Ghost, but you can of course accomplish the same things by cloning to templates in Virtual Center/vCenter.
