I am finding the following message in the jointool-0.log in D:\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure\tomcat\temp
2011-11-30 14:49:28 INFO] Creating new record with data: id: '1073743327' data_type: 'Ldap.BackupLdif' bin_data: 'D:\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure\tomcat\temp\backup3237451294326849558.zip' created_time: '2011-11-30 14:49:28.646' changeId: '24889'
[2011-11-30 14:49:28 INFO] Cleanup: Unable to delete generated zip file : D:\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure\tomcat\temp\backup3237451294326849558.zip
The zip files go back about year and take up about 2.5 GB. It looks to have something to do with linked mode, which is working fine.
Can I delete the files and why are they not being deleted?
Just started a new role a few weeks ago and they're having this same problem on their vcenter server. Was there a solution for this? Is this a UAC thing?
I am also seeing this. At first I thought it was an issue with my VCenter Service account not having permission on the folder but that was not it. Does anyone have any ideas on this?
what error do you get when you try to delete them ?
I had one issue like that when I was deleting a vcsupport file which was at c:\documents and settings\ vmware\ support \ vc-support@blah-blah-balh-98-33-43.23-23.33.zip.
i had to rename the file to a shorter version and I was able to delete the same. But the error message was not regarding the name being long, but of unable to delete only.
Hope that helps.
