Guys, I know with VMFS block size currently 1MB and most modern hard disk using 4K sectors it's best practice to align to Windows to sector 2048 or the 1MB boundary. However, with the advent of solid state drives, should we start to align to 2MB boundary with a view to VMFSDatastores running on SSDs ?
