Cisco UCS PXE boot for ESX 4.1?

Does anyone have any details for this or a document I can link to?

I'm familiar with setting up a PXE boot for traditional servers, but the Cisco UCS is new to me.

Thanks, appreciated.

Hugh,

This is pretty easy. Everything should be the same but in UCS manager you need to create a boot policy for LAN boot and apply it to the service profile of your ESXi server. You should have have the LAN specified first in the boot order and then assign the NIC that will connect to the PXE network. If your NIC is trunked then the default vlan should be able to access your PXE server.

Thanks,

Jeff
