Charts And Graphs VCenter

Hi,

A quick question regarding the charts and graphs etc in vcenter, I have a VM running on a NFS datastore on a host just for some testing so I can see what its like, surprisingly its actually quite good.

but when you look at the task manager inside the VM and then look at the charts on VCenter they are different i've added a screenshot to see how come they are different?

Matt

There are many layers of abstraction between those two charts including in-guest buffers, disk queues, and other overheads. Windows is reporting its view of latency and ESXi is reporting its view. They don't (and won't) necessarily align.
