Changing RAM Quantity of Guest OS from the command interface

Hello,

I'm not sure this is possible and is why I'm posting this topic here (hopefully I'm in the right spot but do apologize if I'm not). Is it possible to update the memory allocation within a Guest OS from the command line? My goal here is to upgrade the Guest OS memory from 1GB to 4GB then schedule a reboot after hours for it to take affect. Again, not to sure if this is possible but thought I would ask.

Thanks in advance,

John

You could do it through PowerCLI. Check it out here:

You could also schedule this to go off at night....
