Changing Management Ports in ESXi 5.1

Is it possible to change the default management port in ESXi 5.1? For example, I want the ESXi host to listen on a port other than 443 for incoming connections from the vSphere client. I know it was possible in previous versions usually by editing the 'proxy.xml' file as per VMware KB article 1021199. I can't seem to find much information on doing it in 5.1.

Yes this is still possible but the location of the files have changed. Take a look at this thread http://communities.vmware.com/message/2160793 for more details

Thanks for that. I was hoping that some official steps from VMware might exist; it seems you have to do a lot more to get it to work now and even then it appears to have mixed success. Not sure if this is intentional...
