Change vcenter ip

I need to give our vcenter server another ip number as it needs to be in another vlan (that is holding the esx management ip's).

Is this going to be as easy as renumbering any windows machine or am i going to run into issues ?

Take a look at this for the process to update ESXi - http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1001493.

Changed the ip, ended up just removing/connecting the esx servers which seems to work fine.

Only problem i'm having now is that the extra stuff like converter and the update manager are supposedly not listening on the new ip.

Converter is back up and running after re-installing it. No go on the update manager yet, it installed fine but the vsphere client keeps telling me 'unable to connect to <host>:443' and then disabled the plugin.
