Cannot install ESX 4.1 Complete Update 3 through Update Manager

I would like to install the VMware ESX 4.1 Complete Update 3 (ESX410-Update03 dated 8/30/2012).  However in Update Manager I get a yellow triangle with "Conflict" next to it.

The text when highlighted is:

The selected update conflicts with the following packages already installed on the host:
python-2.4.3-27.el5@x86_64.
The selected update conflicts with the following updates in the VMware vCenter Update Manager patch repository:
ESX400-201110408-SG, ESX400-201203405-SG, ESX400-Update04, ESX410-201101226-SG, ESX410-201107406-SG, ESX410-201201406-SG, ESX410-Update01, ESX410-Update02.
These patch repository conflicts will NOT affect stage and remediation unless the conflicting patches are included in the baseline(s) 'Host Upgrade - ESX 4.1 Update 3'.

How do I resolve this conflict.  I have no idea.

I detached all baselines on this one test vm host.  I created a new one I named Host Upgrade - ESX 4.1 Update 3.  In it, I put all the Critical, General and Security patches included with Update 3 in the new baseline as listed here: http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=2020362&sl... 0 468786714

Now I did a scan and it just says Patches: Non-Compliant. I can't go deeper into the view where I can see the list of them (ie missing, installed, etc...) but if I hit stage it shows Patches 15 (0 staged).

I'm not sure but I think I can try to stage the update to this host.  No VM's are running on it so it would be a good test.

EDIT,

In the staging process it shows the (!) conflict icon for 3 updates:

ESX410-201208104-SG - http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=202035...

ESX410-201208105-SG - http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=202073...

ESX410-Update03 - http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=2020362&sl...

12 other updates just show the missing (x) icon.

Should I try to push it on anyway or what should I do here?

VMWare support said it was safe to ignore.  I sucessfully installed Update 3 on all my vm hosts.

I was able to clear this alert for Update 1 and Update 2 by installing ESX410-201101203-UG but I can't fix the "incompatible" status of Update 3.

Is it OK to install Update 3 (ESX410-Update03) on ESX 4.1 build 260247?

Everything happens for a reason - just not necessarily a good one.
