Cannot detect Hard Disk DL320 G8 v2

Hi Guys,

Im trying to install esxi 5.1 and even 5.5 on my new HP DL320 G8v2 machine, it seems it cannot detect the WD 500G SATA HD.

im using this HP Dynamic Smart Array B120i RAID Controller. though i disabled it since im only using a single hard disk.

Maybe the OEM HP ESXi image will work. Did you try this yet?

i used the HP image and use the provisioning option on the dl320 and it works.
