Cannot connect to vcenter or hosts from vsphere client

I get the following error when I try to log on to vcenter or directly to the hosts using the vsphere client:

I have verified that hostd and vpxa are running on each of the hosts. I can ping each host but not the vcenter machine.

what versions of ESXi, vCenter and vSphere Client are you using?

Does connecting to vCenter via the web client work?

All are 5.1.0. I am able to log in to the web client now, but my ability to log in to the Web client alternates between successful and non-successful. Yesterday I could log in and then an hour later I could not. Finally today again I could log in. I have also restarted the management services without any luck.

I had  a similar issue  last night  on  my Vcenter . I rebooted  my Server  and  I was able to  login to Vsphere Client.

I have tried rebooting and that did not work.
