Cannot connect directly to the ESXi 5 host

Hello Colleagues,

I ran into a problem that after some time ESXi host to stop responding when you try to connect to it for management. I can not access directly to the host via vSphere client, ssh, and even from console of this host.

In what may be a problem?

Hi, have you checked the firewall configuration?

Of course, it was first thing that I check. All need ports are open.

It's strange that I can not connect from the console of this host.

loss of access does not happen immediately, but after a while

Try restarting the Management Network and agents of this host

You would obviously need to connect to the console directly or via ILO

Are there still VMs on this host, and are they accessible?

But I can`t connect to console. When I put in login and pass, and press "enter", window just hang.

Probably is a host's problem.

Restart the server and collect all the logs you can after reboot.

Can you post the "message" log? (last 50 lines)
