  • 1.  Cannot add Netapp LUN on ESXI 5 host

    We have netapp (NetApp Release 8.1.2P3 7-Mode: ) and  ESXi ( VMware ESXi 5.1.0 build-1021289)

    I  created LUN/igroup  with os type vmware.  But when I tried to  Add Storage - Disk/LUN  it failed on creating the VMFS 5 FS

    vi  /scratch/log/vmkernel.log

    "naa.60a9800044316b2d6c3f436368523855" state in doubt; requested fast path state update...

    Any idea what may be wrong here ?

    What size LUN did you create and what is the block size?

    LUN size I tried with 2TB and 1 TB.  Block size is the defualt , 1 MB
