Cannont Connect to Host through the VSphere Client

All the problems started after I ran a rescan of the HBAs while trying to add an existing vmfs datastore.  The VSphere Client hung and I quit it and tried to get back in.  When i couldn't, i connected via SSH and tried to restart the management services per KB article 1003490.  After doing this, i couldn't connect to the host via the VSphere Client anymore.  I have done some digging via the SSH terminal and i have found that the mgmt-vmware service starts briefly and then terminates.  After looking at /var/log/messages i have found these entries:

It appears that some of the dependent processes needed for the mgmt-vmware service to fully run aren't running.

Any ideas?  I currently have a ticket open with VMWare and i am waiting their callback but haven't gotten it yet.
