Can you move a physical Windows server to a Virtual?

We want to start moving some of our windows servers over to Virtual Servers on a VSphere 4 box. Is there a way of doing this, is there software that can assist in this process? Does VMWare make such a product. Would like to not have to reload several servers from scratch again if I don't need to.

Thanks, Tandrist

VMware Converter and there is also some third party products like Vizioncore's vConverter.

First you need to install VMware Converter this will enable you to convert your physical servers to virtual. Before doing so you might also want to go over my pre conversion checklist and plan to help with the conversion.

Try it with something non critical before you do it and ensure you have a backup as always.

Also decide if you will be doing a hot (while server is running) or cold (boot from converter enterprise CD) conversion.
