Can we run VMotion on the default VMKernel adapter?

Hi. 

Vmware Hosts create a VMKernel adapter by default.

Can we run VMotion using the default VMKernel adapter?

If yes, How?

I would appreciate any answer in advance.

Yes!
For best practices, consider creating a vmkernel specific to vmotion.

1. Log into vCenter
2. Click to select the host
3. Click the Configure tab
4. Click VMkernel adapters
5. Edit settings vmk0
6. Check box vMotion

In fact we had only one adapter and the guest vm transfer is only a one-time job.
