Can't start host- need intel vt-x turned on

Hello,

I have already read about how to enable the intel VT-x in the Bios which I have done already. I can open Vsphere (5.5) client just fine. It only happens when I try to open the host. I have checked and double checked my bios. I'm thinking there may be something in the client that I need to turn on. My Bios is updated too.

I am using a hp compaq 6200 pro with an intel for my hardware. My vsphere esxi has its own server though.

Can someone tell me if there is something hidden that I am missing to get this error to go away?

Thanks!

What is the exact CPU model you have installed?

It is an intel core (TM) i5-2400 CPU @ 3.10 Ghz

Was it able to start previously?  If not, best bet would be running all the components by the Compatibility Guide - VMware Compatibility Guide - System Search
