Can't instal Win7 64bit

Here's where I've got to so far:

-Created Win7 64 bit VM

-Clicked 'Edit Settings...'>Hardware>CD/DVD drive 1, checked 'Datastore ISO File' and browsed to my ISO and also checked 'Connect at power on'

-Booted the machine to the BIOS setup and changed boot order to boot from CD ROM first.

-Power On: I power on the machine and it fails to boot the ISO

I've attached a screen print of where it gets to.  Why might it have failed to boot?

Welcome to the Community,

as the first step, ensure the ISO image is bootable, e.g. not just a service pack image. MS uses similar names for Windows with SPs and SPs only.

I have a couple Questions?

One, are you sure that the ISO is bootable?

Two, are you sure that the Connect at Power on Check box has been checked?

Did you check the "connect on power on" box?

Verify ISO image is bootable or not and check CD/DVD Rom Drive "Connect on power on" and "Connect Now" check both box and browse ISO image if not resolved modify boot order select CD Rom drive in VM BIOS and check for initial screen, for Windows XP or 2008 you need to "Press any key to boot from CD" message will come, check for Windows 7 as well.

The ISO must have not been bootable as I have just got hold of another one and that boots straight away.  Thanks for all your help - the problem is now solved.
