Can't get the iDrac to work on Dell R710


I'm not sure if I should be posting here or on the dell forum. I figure I probably get better help here!

I've setup a new dell r710 with and iSCSI SAN. I've enabled the idrac express with an ip address on our LAN and set it to "shared mode". I can't however ping the idrac over the network.

There are no vlans in use. The r710 is connected to 1 switch for the network and another switch for the SAN. I was wondering if the idrac could be using one of the network cards connected to the SAN? Is there anyway to specify which NIC is used (I could see this in the BIOS).

Does anyone have any ideas or can anyone advise how I can troubleshoot this further?
