Can't get Dell OMSA working on ESXi 4.0

Setting up a PowerEdge R410. Downloaded Dell-customized ESXi 4.0 installable from VMware website (later, I found a distribution on Dell support website, but it appears to be identical), installed it, installed vMA, downloaded and installed the offline OMSA bundle from and installed it from vMA, rebooted, set UserVars.CIMOEMProvidersEnabled to 1 using VI client and rebooted, installed OMSA on a Windows XP host, tried connecting to the ESXi host, and got "Login failed... Internal Error" message. Rebooted both the ESXi host and the XP machine - didn't help. Logged on to the ESXi console, ran /usr/lib/ext/dell/dataeng restart - all 3 services restarted successfully, but it didn't help. Output of /usr/lib/ext/dell/dataeng status is as follows:

dsm_sa_datamgr32d (pid17893 ) is running

dsm_sa_eventmgr32d (pid 17915 ) is running

dsm_sa_snmp32d (pid 17928 ) is running

Output of esxupdate query (in service console) is as follows:

Tried logging in as root (with password) and as another user in root group (also with password) - doesn't help. ESXi version is "VMware ESXi, 4.0.0, 181792" - from what I understand, this is the latest version and should not require patching, or am I wrong there? Is there some patch I should install on the ESXi?

Never mind, figured it out. Server Administrator Web Services HAVE to run on a Windows Server host - XP won't work (produces error message), and Vista won't work (service won't even start). Windows Server 2003 R2 x86 SP2, however, has it working fine.
