Can not ping VMWARE Host

If have lost the connection from vCenter to one of my VMware servers.

I can still do the following...

  • use the vSphere client to go directly to it.
  • ping any servers running on it.

I am thinking that I have broken one of the VMKernel ports or its routing. Could this be the case?

What should I change to get this working? I know it is a Gateway or routing issue but can not see what is wrong.

I believe the line I have marked / highlighted should really point to 192.168.101.1 . Is it possibl to change this from the gateway "Local Subnet" or have I got it all wrong.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Problem was with the vswitch ip for both it and the gateway.
