Sorry if the question could look newbie but I want to get some external insights before put this scenario in production.
I've have an environment with several hosts spread on different clusters with HA and DRS enabled.
All these hosts are connected to a unique EMC VNX SAN via ISCSI.
We have some issues with the EMC VNX(storage 1 on the drawing) and we want to evacuate some LUNS to correct issues. To achieve this, we want to add temporary a second storage on the network.
Do you see specific issues or limitations that can prevent us to connect all hosts to the 2 SAN at the same via the unique HBA (SW ISCSI)?
