I want to build an affordable ESXI Server for Home Lab Simulations and loading operating systems for various certifications....
I was wondering if this is suitable....
Welcome to the Community - Have you checked the HCL - http://www.vmware.com/resources/compatibility/search.php?
If not you can also check http://vm-help.com/
Typically the most common problems are with the network card or drive controller not being supported
I didn't see the brand Shuttle on the HCL at all, however, you could install Windows and use VMware Workstation to host a nested ESXi lab solution.
You can use LabGuides: Autolab for that....

Yes I tried the hardware compatibility list I don't see anything for Shuttle ... My previous machine isn't listed either but it worked fine I was just wondering if anyone has built a machine or heard of it being done with a Shuttle Barebone... I am aware of the general problems
