Call "OptionManager.UpdateValues" for object "ha-adv-options"

Using ESXi 5.5 and vCenter 5.5

TrenMicro Deep Security 9.0

Trying to add an IP (169.254.1.1) to the Advanced item called "Net.DVFilterBindingIPAddress" but I keep getting the following....

From Web Client...

The "Update option values" operation failed for the entity with the following error message.

A specified parameter was not correct.

Sysinfo set operation VSI_NODE_config_strOpts failed with error status Bad parameter.

From Thick Client..

Error:The value entered is not valid. Enter another value.

See the error stack for details on the cause of this problem.

Error Stack

Call "OptionManager.UpdateValues" for object "ha-adv-options" on ESXi "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" failed.

I'm pretty stumped at this point. Any ideas?

Hi COS,

have you verified that dvfilter driver was loaded?

# esxcfg-module -l | grep dvfilter

Also check if you have the latest versions of appliance and filter driver:

Trend Micro Deep Security Virtual Appliance 9.0 Service Pack 1 Patch 2, FilterDriver-ESX_5.0-9.0.0-2636.x86_64.zip.
