I need to find out which parameters will affect the start of a VM.
I have two hosts each 32 GB.
Available space for host 1: 10 GB
for host 2: 28 GB
I create a VM in host 1 with reservation of 23 GB of RAM and it works but not for 24 GB. But configured size is 110 GB of RAM. Where does vsphere calculate this value ?
How can i exactly determine which amount of reservation will guarantee the running of the VM??
