Hi,
I would like to find out ESXi hosts CPU max/min usage over a period of a month. The goal is to figure out if we have over provisioned the ESXi host. Looking at the Real time VSphere chart, I get different readings.
We have 2 sockets; each socket has 4 cores with Hyper threading enabled.
We have Oracle DB server and Weblogic server running on the VMs; The VM OS is Windows 2012.
How do I know how much CPU resource to allocate to these VM? We want to make sure we only allocate CPU based on what the VM needs.
Please advise.
