'CPU usage' Summary tab X 'Logical Processors' Configuration tab - vSphere Client

Hi,

In the my vSphere Client v5.0.0, in 'Configuration' tab -> 'Logical Processors' is showed 24 'Logical Processors':

But in 'Summary' tab -> 'CPU usage:' is showed 12 CPU:

Summary CPU usage.jpg

Is it correct? In the 'CPU usage' is showed the number of the "physical" processors only?

Hi,

Yes it is correct , in the summary tab, you see only the physical processors.

there is nothing wrong. it's shows the correct CPU. the thing is in the configuration it's shows the logical value(24)= number of socket X total number of  thread per cpu ( here this cpu total  thread is 12) so 2X12= 24 and in the resource area it's shows the physical CPU core value= ( processor socket X processor core / socket)  2X6 = 12.
